Jeff Young

Jeff was born in Cambridge, Ohio, but has moved around quite a bit; from Ohio to Springfield, Illinois and finally ending up in the Philadelphia suburb of Blue Bell. In Blue Bell, he became great friends with both Dave and Aaron and they continue to show their love for sports through some insightful, sometimes heated conversations.

He has always been an avid hockey fan ever since his brother introduced him to the sport at the age of 5. Ironically enough, he found an idol in Mario Lemieux when he was younger, and has considered the Pittsburgh Penguins his favorite team ever since, followed by the Columbus Blue Jackets. But, of course, being from Ohio, he has always been a passionate Ohio State Buckeyes and college football (in general) fan.

Being a Buckeye at heart, Jeff followed his lifelong dream of attending The Ohio State University where he is majoring in Sport and Leisure Studies. After college, he hopes to work in Sport Marketing with a professional sports team (preferably in hockey).

His favorite sports moments include: 2002 Fiesta Bowl, 2006 Ohio State/M!ch!gan Game, the 2007 Final Four (which he attended), Mario Lemieux’s return to the ice against the Maple Leafs 12.27.00, and any fall Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

His favorite sports teams not aforementioned: Cleveland Browns/Indians/Cavaliers, and of course he follows and cheers for the Phillies and Eagles.
